Roland Torikian is a seasoned Maya healer with over 30 years of experience in traditional healing practices across Mexico, India and the UK. He trained in Maya Medicine under renowned healer, Lauro de la Cruz, in the highlands of Chiapas, completing his apprenticeship in the 1990s.

Blending ancient Mesoamerican medicine with Tibetan Buddhism, Roland opened a clinic in Dharamshala, India, where he studied Tibetan Buddhist philosophy with Geshe Sonam Rinchen. His unique approach weaves together Maya healing, sweat lodge ceremonies, meditation, and shamanic practices from the Kagyu and Bon Buddhist lineages.

Roland currently leads regular workshops, retreats, and traditional sweat lodges in the UK, Mexico and Sweden, offering deep, integrative healing for the body, mind and spirit.
