WITH KATIA NARAIN PHILLIPS
This workshop offers a quiet, grounded space for women to reconnect with their bodies and release held tension through a simple, body-led practice.
At its centre is TRE® (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises), a gentle somatic method that supports the body in naturally discharging stress. Through guided tremoring and nervous system regulation, you’ll be invited to shift out of long-held patterns of holding or bracing and into a steadier, more easeful state.
Katia Narain Phillips brings over 30 years of experience in body-based healing. She is trained in massage, TRE®, NADA ear acupuncture and Reiki, and is the co-author of the bestselling books Self-Care for the Real World and Rituals for Every Day.
Katia’s approach is steady, compassionate, and deeply attuned to the individual needs of each participant.
While physical release is part of the work, the session also focuses on how we notice and stay with positive internal states – so they can be felt, absorbed and gradually integrated. This supports new patterns of resilience and helps the body learn that safety is possible, even after stress or overwhelm.
This workshop is for women only, to create a space that feels safe, supportive and specific. Many women carry layers of patterned tension shaped by caregiving, social pressure, trauma or simply the pace of life. Being in a group of women can offer a unique sense of recognition, safety and shared softness.
Whether you’re holding daily stress or long-standing physical or emotional tension, this is an opportunity to slow down, feel supported and meet yourself with more care and ease.
No prior experience necessary: all are welcome.
