WITH ANTHEA BELL / SUPPER COOKED BY KATIA NARAIN PHILLIPS
Many people, regardless of outward success carry a deep desire to be seen, heard and expressed through meaningful work. Yet fear, early conditioning and embodied nervous system patterns often interrupt that impulse, quietly shaping our confidence, presence and capacity to act.
Through this talk, Anthea will explore:
– What we need in order to liberate desire, talent, creativity and energetic capacity
– What unconsciously holds us back from pursuing our work courageously and skilfully
– The impact of fear on expression – and how it hampers performance, leadership and relationships
– The hidden roots of inhibition, and why fear often masquerades as procrastination, perfectionism, people-pleasing or overthinking
The evening will begin with a talk followed by a connective Q&A, enabling a reclamation of desire as a valid, embodied signal rather than something to suppress or earn.
A delicious supper, created by Katia Narain Phillips and hosted by Anthea, completes the evening – a warm, interactive gathering anchored in community and collaboration.

ABOUT ANTHEA BELL
Embodiment Coach to Actors, Creatives and Coaches. Host of the Embodied Podcast.
Embodiment Coach Anthea, whose client roster includes some of the UK’s best known TV and film stars, works at the intersection of mind, body and spirit, supporting creatives to reclaim safety, confidence and authentic self-expression.
Her work is deeply informed by both extensive professional training and lived experience, including a decade-long personal recovery journey that reshaped her relationship with her body, identity and sense of worth.
Originally trained as an art historian and curator, Anthea transitioned from a fast-paced fundraising career with institutions including the British Museum and Tate Galleries into the world of somatic practice, retraining in yoga, Pilates, nervous system education, trauma-informed coaching and integrative psychotherapy. She later went on to support the certification of teachers in both yoga and Pilates, grounding her work in anatomy, movement and embodied awareness.
Today, Anthea’s coaching is described by clients as both “deeply compassionate and measurably transformative.” Rather than teaching techniques, she facilitates shifts in state, identity and presence – helping people move from survival-based patterns into grounded agency and creative freedom.
