A FOUR-DAY IMMERSION WITH SARAH POWERS
Modern life often pulls us away from ourselves. We become caught in habits of striving, self-judgment, comparison and emotional reactivity, making it difficult to respond with clarity and compassion.
This four-day immersion invites you to slow down and cultivate a more intimate relationship with your body, heart and mind through the integrated lens of Insight Yoga.
Drawing from over three decades of practice and teaching, Sarah Powers uniquely weaves together Yoga, Mindfulness meditation, Buddhism and psychology and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to create a practice that supports not only physical wellbeing, but also emotional resilience and psychological freedom.
Each day includes guided Yin and Yang yoga practices, mindfulness meditation, psychological inquiry and teachings that help us recognise the protective patterns that often limit our capacity for genuine connection – with ourselves and with others.
Throughout the workshop, we will explore how awareness can become the foundation for meeting our inner critics with greater wisdom and compassion.
WHO IS THIS TRAINING FOR?
This immersion is designed for dedicated yoga practitioners, yoga teachers, meditation practitioners, and anyone interested in exploring the intersection of contemplative practice and modern psychology. Participants should have a basic understanding of Yin Yoga and mindfulness meditation, along with a willingness to engage in personal inquiry and embodied practice.

Sarah has been teaching for 30+ years, blending both a Yin sequence of long-held floor poses to enhance the meridian and organ systems while often engaging in inquiry practice, with a mindfully-based flow yoga practice. She is trained in both Psychosynthesis and the Internal Family Systems psychological models, and has been a student of spiritual psychology for over 35 years.
Sarah draws from her education and participation in long retreats in the Vipassana, Tantric and Dzogchen practices of Buddhism.
