Welcome to HOME WELLNESS

WITH JOYCE MCMIKEN
An Embodied Journey into Presence, Breath & Rest

Modern life often leaves us feeling constantly ‘on’; mentally busy, physically tired, and disconnected from our ability to truly rest.

This workshop is an invitation to step out of habitual patterns of doing and reconnect with a more grounded way of being. Through curiosity, movement, breath, meditation and rest, we will explore how coming into a deeper relationship with the body can open the doorway to greater presence, ease and balance.

We will gently explore three key questions:
Why does my mind feel so busy, even when I long for more quiet?
How does stress show up in my body, and what helps me return to a sense of balance?
How can I cultivate greater ease, connection and joy in everyday life?

The afternoon will include:
Guided meditation and breath awareness
Gentle, yoga-based mindful movement
Supported restorative postures
Reflection, journaling and personal inquiry

As we soften patterns of striving, tension and constant doing we create the conditions for greater presence, connection and quiet joy that naturally arises when we reconnect with ourselves.

You will leave with practical tools to support your wellbeing, a deeper understanding of your own patterns, and a felt experience of calm, clarity and ease.

Please bring a notebook and pen.

Open to all.
